Susanne is a self-taught photographer whose visual identity has been shaped by a diverse geographical journey. Born in Germany, raised in Northern Greece, and now living in the Aegean on the beautiful island of Kos, these transitions have provided her with endless imagery and continue to fuel her passion for photography.
She has been captivated by the language of photography since childhood. What began as a primitive instinct to freeze time has evolved into a deliberate artistic practice. Today, photography is for her more than just capturing a moment; it is the starting point of a creative journey—one that prioritizes emotion and storytelling over technical perfection.
Her work is not a sterile documentation of reality, but a search for the feeling that lingers behind every frame. While the camera records the scene, the creative exploration continues in her digital darkroom, where the final visual story is carefully crafted.
Over the years, she has developed her own style, blending moody light and atmospheric textures to bring out the emotion of every shot and transform it to a painterly Fine Art Piece.
Her photographic work has gained recognition through features in various photography magazines and has been presented in collective exhibitions in both Germany (2024) and Greece (2021).
Susanne believes that a photograph truly comes to life when it is printed. But her goal is to create pieces that do more than just hang on a wall; she wants to offer a place where the eyes can rest and the mind can start to dream.
Whether it finds its place in a quiet personal corner or stands as a central piece in a shared space, she is honored that her work becomes part of your everyday world.
